I'm back and reality is slowly starting to sink in.

I shall try to blog about each individual city that I visited in the weeks ahead, but now, I shall just sit back and collate my thoughts about the whole thing.

After my Europe trip last year, I was actually telling myself that I wanted to visit as much of Europe as I can before I move on to another continent. Yet, the 23 days I spent in the US made me question why I waited this long before I made the trip there. I still think Europe is more scenic. The building more medieval, the feel more rustic and the environment a lot more 'different' (for the lack of words). Yet, the US was also 'different' in many other ways. I lived in a city that felt nothing like the city state that I grew up in. I saw different types of people, both good and bad. Taking the public transport around is really a good way of getting to know a place more intimately. The way the locals behave, the way they work, the way they get about their daily lives... no bus ride was boring, even though I fell asleep on some.

Well, it was a trip of new experiences. Traveling around in domestic flights, road trips amongst many others. And it'll be one that I'll fondly look back upon for all my life.

Thank You Uncle Sam. We'll meet again someday.
