The bag above was a nice token from Darren and Sandrine Leong. Delivered right to the gates of Hendon Camp. It's contents are mainly snacks and a tiny card that contains a handwritten examination prayer. It might be a humble brown paper bag with an assortment of goodies, but really, it makes me love them and miss them even more. Gosh, 1 more month exactly! But being Chris Raj, the insatiable git, here's what I would wish to see inside:
- A MC pad fully signed by Dr Leong, and the dates left blank.
- San's econs brain.
- Darren's math brain (okay la, San's also can)
- Darren's physics brain (I'm not too sure about San's on this one though)
Now, will I get Exam Goodie Pack II with all these? (:
Now the end of this weekend heralds the coming of another week of work, the last full week of work. (Not that it's gonna be full, but then again, how many full weeks of work have I had this year?)
Clear leave, clear the boxes on the clearance form, clear my cupboard, clear MCs, clear NS from my life. Yup, that's how it's gonna be this week. I don't exact feel that 'near-end' feeling. But somehow attending Willis' ORD Parade that day felt more like MY end as well. Yes, we ORD on the same date, but his parade really gives you the sense that the finish line is here. I didn't exactly feel that way when I received my ORD plaque during the unit cohesion. Not that I am complaining, but just a random thought...
What you see above is what Mr Willis 'Elite Force' Loy got for me from Thailand. Nice one there. The last time he got me something from his overseas exercise, it was eaten by someone else, so it was good that this time he bought something non-edible and excludable (ah econs knowledge, what a beauty). It would have been a disaster if another Christopher popped out of nowhere and went to his place to take it. Hmmmph!
