UP was really an amazing show. Even though the really touching beginning surprised me as it was targeted at young children, I really enjoyed sitting through a show that featured an old man climbing zeppelins, a flying house, colourful weird birds that reminded me of the roadrunner, and talking dogs. All of which make no sense, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. 3D didn't exactly feel very 3D to me, all I realised was that the flying clouds seemed closer. Other that than, I was more concerned about the 3D glasses resting on my Oakleys, which made my nose bridge painful.
I have to give it to Pixar, to come up with a cartoon that features an old man as it's 'hero' and still make a good story line out of it! Haha, the introduction 'clouds' feature was nice, but I remember funnier ones by Pixar in the previous movies. I'm still waiting for Incredibles 2, if ever it's gonna be produced. After the disaster, which was Monsters and Aliens, UP did well enough to restore my faith that you can't go wrong with animated movies.
I'm gonna get a girlfriend with frizzy hair and a missing front tooth. Damn, that was one lucky guy. She actually became quite pretty! Even as an old woman... Hmmmph!
Thumbs UP! (:
