It was a nice weekend.
The one day work week. The glorious movie. But Saturday was really the highlight of it all. Since I'm clicking for Holy Hour today, I decided to attend practice and familiarise myself with the sequence of slides and the flow of the event.
I really felt good, it felt like SATURDAY again. After so many months... Mass, after mass announcements, the camping at the carpark, running across the street to grab a quick bite, and despite it being a quick bite, returning late for practice. It felt so normal to do all these. Sheesh! Practice was really really welcomed. For once I didn't take opening and closing prayer for granted, and when they practiced the Taize songs, I could have just sat down there for hours and hours and not get bored. It's really the atmosphere in the small room tucked in the 4th floor. I really miss that feeling of being in there.
When Daf told me last night that I shouldn't have been upset at Val's farewell, since I still see everyone often, I thought she got it wrong. Everything I described in the previous paragraph was what I was upset about. To miss all that, and maybe some other reasons. But it was a good Saturday, and I really thank god for that.
Let December come please, but for obvious reasons, maybe not too fast (:
