And so it's the 5th of January of yet another brand new year. Which also spells the end of 12 days of Christmas. *insert sound of heart breaking* My my, midnight mass was really 12 days ago? It feels as though barely a week has past since that night! So much has happened. I'm so thankful for all the company I've had.

New Year's eve was at Jon's place. Though we spent the stroke of midnight at Clara's, with the breathtaking view of fireworks and flares as a backdrop. Despite all these, the most wonderful thing that night was the company. If there's one thing that I'll take away from NS, it's how blessed I am to know the people whom I know. Every single one of them have kept me going, despite all the lowdowns, and they have been responsible for all the highs.

Friday was Wicak's farewell followed by shopping in Taka and Wisma. It was fun watching everyone else try different sets of clothes and Wicak having to choose between all the shirts at G2000. I'm gonna miss Wicak loads, and Shannon as well, who left this morning. Somehow the entire festive season seems so much more joyful when there's more people to share it with. Guess the only consolation I have is that it I can look forward to such joy at the end of this year!

Saturday was Wicak's sending off, followed by mass, Jalan Kayu, and Rock Band. I got pwned in Rock Band as always. Newcomer Mr Noel Loh was on fire, pretty much making the 'Difficult' difficulty level seem like a cinch to him. Jon Chia thought me the basics of Mahjong! It's pretty intellectual, all the spotting of patterns and all. I think I should play it more often. The awesome thing about Jo's house is that it's a 5 minute walk from my place. So despite leaving her place at 0430hrs, I reached home at 0435hrs! (:

Back to the course. All the conspiracies I sense, garh, I'm hoping I survive. C'mon... Ganbatte!
