I'm back from choir camp!

It was really quite an experience. Think it's the most serious church related camp I've ever gone to. Con camps were more fun then anything else, even if there were spiritual parts, I'm sure I was joking away or playing around. Past choir camps were also more fun, or I was too busy socialising. The last YC camp I went to was a purely fun camp, which I enjoyed throughly. As an organising member this camp was supposed to be spiritual, and I'm so happy to say it was really spiritual! I particularly enjoyed the walking meditation, even though Darryl made it a scene from Resident Evil. Heh. Meditation for one, is a definite no no. My back and knees hurt just 5 mins into meditation la. I'm awed by the monks who spend hours in that position man.

The whole experience of sitting down, and helping a little in the planning, helping out with the band, the whole process it simply amazing. So many times after meetings, I've gone home tired with the thought that I'm never doing this again. But band pracs were so fun, I wish they went on forever. The problems we faced, both with camp related stuff and with other members in the comm, it was really something to learn from. At the end of the day, it felt so good that camp was such a success and we all heaved a sigh of relief. I love my comm members man. Esp Drea and San for really doing SO MUCH. Even though I had a tiff with San, I love her all the same. Jon, Darryl, Pris, Anton, Bryan, Jared, Duane make up the rest of the comm, and I can't imagine camp running so smoothly without their inputs either. Aiyah, I just love the choir on the whole la!

Now, I'm still wondering if I should go for this year's YC Camp. I'll miss day 1 tomorrow as I have work, but I can go for the next 3 days as I'll be on leave come Friday. But that would mean I miss pracs on both Saturday and Sunday. Hmmmmm. I think I should go...
Ahhhhhh!
