I still can't believe the words on the choir noticeboard last night that read '5 weeks to Christmas'. I mean, really? That's pretty fast in a way, though I wouldn't complain if it read '5 days' instead. 2008 is fast dying. The days just slipping past and life isn't stopping for anyone. I have reached a stage in life where I'm not bothered about time just slipping away, but I'm more than glad if I don't meet any sort of trouble for that day. A peaceful day, no matter how boring or mundane is what I ask for now.

Band practices for the choir camp have started, and I'm really pleased with the band as well as my comm members. The band is simply awesome, despite the fact that the lead singers haven't showed up yet. Musically, Bryan is the closest I have to Jimi Hendrix and he really leads everybody well. Jared is the impromptu drummer with serious moves, and Pris is one with the keyboard. Dom Ng's addition with Jeremy Chai's bass guitar added more colour to the music. It's all going well, and I'm pretty pleased about it. Music during mass yesterday was surprisingly good, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the choir myself. This considering how sloppy and lazy we seemed during practice. Night practice was good, touching a little bit on those Christmas songs. Ah, that. The nostalgia and the memories that those songs bring about. Especially those that I had 2 years ago. It's the bittersweet melody that brings along the warmth and hope of Christmas, yet the painful stabs of days gone by.

The all guys night with Darren Leong, Jon Lim-s and Anthony was full of laughs thanks to Madagascar 2. It was really a good way to just unwind during the weekend by just laughing out loud and not having to look around to see if people are throwing glances at you thinking you're mad. It was really a good laugh... one that's gonna carry me to the next weekend.
