Last week was really quite wonderful. The week was over in a blink. It was a usual workday on Monday, Tuesday was my CT Scan, Wednesday was my Physio, Thursday was Cohesion Games Day and Friday was Cohesion Outing! Pretty fun. Games day saw me participate in both Chess and Dodgeball. I totally got owned in chess by CPT Rudie, but then I won the dodgeball match. I was pretty pleased with myself, considering that it's been like 10 years since I last played chess? Unit Outing was pretty fun as well. It was a trip to Fort Canning and a visit to the British underground bunkers. Typical army excursion. We were just joking around, and playing the random games that they organised before we headed off for lunch. Lunch was one to behold. It was a gorgeous spread of food from salad, to starters to main courses to deserts. Gosh, being the deprieved NSF, it is no surprise that I had 4 rounds, along with countless deserts. I can safely say that I cleaned up an entire tray of chocolate eclairs single-handedly. Greedy? No, just making good use of my unit funds since they paid $28 per person.
I woke up next morning with a huge pimple on my cheeks, and I started cursing the chocolate eclairs. Garh!
Band prac was good as always. Mass and night prac was good. Supper at Carl's Jnrs was good. The sleep was good. Shopping with the VS Boys was good. I really adore the weekends. Sales are all here, my bank account is frightened.
