I'm actually quite thrilled now. It was really surprising when my parents actually allowed me to drive alone to church today despite it not even being 1 week into my supposed 1 month probation! It was actually quite fun to drive alone, without no one looking over your shoulder from the passenger seat and prompting you on countless occasions.

The trip to church wasn't really eventful, but the fun started when the choir decided to go to Rochore for supper. Some tau huey place there, and well, I don't know how to go there. So with both Gerald and Paul at my backseat I tried to follow Shaun's car all the way, but well, lost them at the slip road near Sim Lim Square. What followed after that was a long, really long detour back as I also missed the next turn. About 15 minutes later, we got there... how wrong was I to think that the whole confusion had ended. I dropped both Gerald and Paul like 50m away from the Tau Huey stall and told them to simply walk down the street and call Shaun while I go find a parking lot. Wonderful jokers went to walk all the way to Sim Lim Square. I didn't realise it until Shaun called me to say that Gerald called him to tell him that he's actually lost. Running around trying to find them took half my life and energy away. Gosh!

Somehow they found their way there and by the time I went back for my Tau Huey, I was so shagged that all I did was plonk myself on the nearest chair and quietly tuck into the bowl. Sitting at the end of the table seeing the other joke around, I guess for a talkative person like me it's actually good to be quiet once and just let other people do the talking while I do the laughing and listening.

Maybe I should just shut up more often.
