Where is the moment we needed the most,
You kick up the leaves and the magic
is lost.
...Bad day

It was a depression ridden nightmare at work today. The Almighty has decided to punish the entire group because of 3 idiots within the group. You see amongst the 8 of us, there are these 3 idiots from Combat Engineers. And their favourite past-time is to take MCs and not come to work. The record holder took 8 MCs last month, out of 20 working days. 40% chance of him taking a MC. How sick can the guy get?

I'm predictiing he'll die soon... since he's THAT sick huh..

So this 3 idiots decided to all fall 'sick' on the same exact Monday, which happens to be the end of a long weekend. That pissed off the Almighty, who decreed that because of their actions all of us are going to stay-in from next week onwards. No more booking out on weekdays. Wow.

That is so damn bloody fair. I'm the one who hasn't taken a single MC, nor have I missed an entire day of work. The same goes for 4 of my other POI mates. And yet, we have to be punished. This reminds me of what happened between me and Mr Isaac Lim in school last year. After my public display of displeasure, he realised he was in the wrong to punish me for Nigel's screw-up and he eventually admitted that he took the wrong course of action. He didn't blatantly apologise, and I don't even need him to. I do understand his position, but the fact that he made an effort to acknowledge that he erred made me even respect him more. Now, the Almighty is on course for the same screw up.

Right now, the 3 combat engineers have taken loads of MCs. Happily slacking away while the other guys and myself were reporting to camp early in the morning. They have enjoyed their self-proclaimed off days. But for the rest of us, we're going to suffer just as much as them. Amazing theory.

Chief's my last hope right now. Only one who can restore some believe that life is GENERALLY fair. Tsk.

As much as I would love to rewind time, and take all the MCs I want...
I'm Victorian, and I have my values. Not some bloody uncivilised Combat Engineer.

Looking at some decision makers, you do realise there are Educated Fools around.
