Here's a photo-less entry as I'm blogging from camp.
Anyway, here I am back in Clementi camp after a long weekend break. Saturday was back to the roads with a fun instructor this time. He was explaining to me the mechanics of the clutch and so on, made learning alot simpler when you actually understand the concept behind why the car works the way it does. Church in the afternoon which was followed with the Great BK brawl that happened during supper.
Sunday was driving again. Here's the first lost of the long weekend. On the way back after my lesson, my house keys decided to bail on me. I reached home and realised I was locked out of my own house. A long while later my parents returned home, nagged and let me in. That itself was bad, it was the first time I lost a set of house keys since my parents gave one to me in sec 1. Evening @ Orchard. Met the boys and caught Harold and Kumar. Insanely whacky show that one, really pure mindless dumb humour. I'm actually quite surprised that it was only m18. Dinner was followed by another movie, this time 'What happens in Vegas'. It was a good show as well, light hearted story that paints accidental love as the way to go. Seriously, do things really turn out this well in real life? Anyway, I'm really impressed by Ion Orchard's ads, they are so sophisticated that it really captures your attention. You get the feeling of a dreamy high-class shopping centre that would put you on cloud 9 the moment you set foot in it. I really cant wait for that to open, wallet will die. Right, about wallet... LATER.
Monday was soccer @ VS with the boys. KFC lunch and then the choir's picnic. Blazing hot day definately, I was quite content to spend most of the time in the shade though. 8km run down the coastline, soccer, 4 way Captain's ball, 2 rescue mission that saved 2 different balls, dinner AND then the big tragedy. I LOST MY WALLET!
*&^%
I had about $160 inside, along with my ez-link's stored value of hopefully $20, ATM card, my precious student ez-link card, and a whole lot of things inside including the all important 11b aka Army IC. URGH. It's so sad. Now I'm totally doomed. A new wallet alone would set me back by $100, my 11b would cost $50, new ez-link with stored value would come about to $30, $5 for the ATM card and I need to withdraw another $150 to buy my iPod since I lost the earlier $150. Almost $400 gone already, haiz...
C'mon someone be an angel and just return me the wallet, you can keep all the cash inside!
