I am back! 2 weeks of confinement is over and that also means that 2/9 of my BMT life is gone. Not that I am sad, definately not. But I marvel at how time seems like a distant blur everytime you look back. Whenever a plane flies over my company, I still remember the times spent in Turkey and there's that desire to just hop on and fly off. If only everyday of my life could be a holiday, ahhhhh....

BMT has been an experience so far. A drastic change in lifestyle of course, but I guess I've been coping rather well. Exercises, lectures (yes, there are lectures), marching and everything else. Everyday is planned right to lights out. My shin has been sounding its pain alarms from time to time, but I guess I have to turn a deaf ear to it if I plan to complete BMT successfully this time.

Weekends are now as precious as any of the other precious things in life. The smell of fresh air, the liberty to do whatever I want to and the convenience of leaving things to another time. Somehow the Army has left me with no time for my self, so unlike most recruits I'm perfectly fine with spending some time of the weekend alone with no one but me and myself.

7 more weeks...
