And so the preparations for serving the nation begin, 3 whole days before my service date. It was a trip down to the Army market in Beach Road with Mr Commando aka Willis Loy. A couple of familiar faces, even more rounds around the place and almost 50 dollars later we were done. Tau Suan, sugarcane and chicken rice with Jun Yu and Justin who came around later.
Little India on mum's orders to get a book for my sister before rushing down to AMK for Chipmunks. The movie was simply cute. All those little furballs that we grew up with now come in 3D maybe 4D. AMK is a screwed up place, and it doesn't help when the bus is slowed down by traffic AND you're going to end up paying a mammoth $1.40 for that ride. Darn.
