Wimbledon 2007 was the best I've seen in the recent years. Maybe not the Women's Finals as I wanted Henin to win. Bartoli was really swept away by Venus in the Finals. I don't really blame her. Venus is really powerful. Her strokes and her reach is amazing, she's 1.85m after all! I still don't like her, she got more and more noisy as the match progressed.

Mad woman.

The Men's Final was a joy to behold. 5 sets, and a close fight between the top 2 seeds in tennis. Nadal looks like he's bringing his clay court tricks to grass. He had great touches throughout the entire game, and he definately looked the fitter of the 2. That's despite having marathon games previously due to the rain. Federer on the other hand, his technique is really awesome. The number of aces he got in the Finals was amazing. It would be safe to say that he would have definately lost without them. He played well when it mattered the most : tie breakers and the final set. Maybe Nadal's knee injury took a little away from his overall game, but full credit to Federer anyway.

5 Wimbledon titles. Respect.

That's one heck of a feat. Doubt Bjorn ever imagined anyone equalling or beating his record.
