holla
I survived Catholic retreat. It was actually quite fun in a way. Despite the countless sessions which involved my butt resting on the cold, hard floor of the auditorium (that's the HALL in CJ) I actually found the other times quite okay. Praise and Worship was too short for my liking though. Guess the fun times involved socialising and just chilling away. Be it with my group's facilitator, my only male groupmate Zach, with the class guys or just some other random soul that I spoke to along the way... I guess the fact that I was in school, without the need to have to worry about my studies for once was clearly welcomed. My facilitator was this extremely positive guy who was a former CJ student. Goofy guy with a good sense of humour and he made the group session quite relaxed. Learnt alot from him about coping with the A levels, NS and University life.
Harry Potter with the church guys after retreat. Show was rather disappointing. The story potrayed was not even accurate to a certain extent. I guess I've high expectations after reading the books which are truly spectacular. Radcliffe isn't as good looking as he was before and Cho Chang looks better in the pictures compared to film. Gary Oldman really give Sirius class and it was a pity that Rowling had to kill him off in this book. The CGI in the movie was mediocre. After catching Transformers and Spiderman, HP looked like a cartoon instead of a real movie. Harry looked really retarded on his Firebolt. I guess the wizarding duels in the end saved the movie, it was the coolest scene in the movie by far. Definately not worth $9.50, let alone my precious sleep.
Retreat's over. It's back to normal life.
Gah.
