Home alone Day 2 has been quite an experience. Damn, I suddenly feel so grown up. Things like hanging the laundry, washing the dishes, and even preparing my own snacks. Truth be told, I like it. It's like being totally self reliant. No worries of mum forgetting to wash your jersey that you need tomorrow, or about her spreading peanut butter instead of jam on your bread. I'm so in control.
Well, mum's birthday was on the 10th. I usually get her a mother's day present (remember the teddy a few posts ago?) and that doubles up as a birthday present too. This year, since I am all alone at home, I've decided to clean the entire house for her before she comes back. God bless that I do not end up wrecking it in the process. I'm going to show her that I am ready for life on my own.
And hope she gets me a studio apartment with a sea view.
