Well, the end of the holidays are in sight even though I'm still trying to deny the existence of Mid Year examinations. It's just so difficult to swallow that fact that your early years have to be spent in the midst of such mayhem and mental torture.
Anyway, what's a holiday without any TV? The find of this holiday would definately be 'House' I've been catching random episodes from time to time, but during this 1 month, I've been actually following it as closely as I follow CSI. It's really interesting to see that weird yet genius doctor screw around with both his patient's brains, and not to mention his own staff's. One liners, sarcasm, and quotes that would probably make someone adore you instantly... House has it all. Today however, was the first time that someone actually died in the show.
There I was thinking that the producers won't actually kill of any character who comes along no matter how severe their illness might be. But hey, I guess I was wrong. As much as I am disturbed that someone died, I'm pretty happy that the producers actually made the show realistic and not portray House as God who can save everybody who comes along. On the uptake, albeit a delayed one. As a doctor, how do you even deal with a death? I guess the first time it happens would really be a depressing incident for a doctor. Wonder if they go through some sort of psychological module during their study. Remind me to ask Cherie Lu in the near future. Then again, Darren Leong or Eunice could provide some answers.
Hmmmm... On second thoughts, I don't even think they would want to consider that idea in the first place. I shall just keep it to myself.
