holla

Great day with the boys yesterday. Many thanks to Darren Yong who opened up his place @ Summer Gardens. With a house right infront of the pool and near street soccer courts, there was never really a boring moment. Started the day off with street soccer @ AHS. Yeah, none of us ever schooled there, but since soccer is universal... heck! Playing barefoot was painful. Friction and the rather rough ground made the chances of getting a blister high. Thankfully, my feet escaped the blisters. Nick Tan's face bore the extreme power of my right foot. Kinda felt bad for the dazed guy, but hey, I was going for a spectacular hat-trick. Oh well. It was kinda comical at the court, blunders that happened every now and then. There was even this guy who pretended to run away with our ball when we kicked it across the road when in reality he was trying to help us. Joker.

Dinner at Simpang. Interesting. Johnnie and all his toilet stories are seriously not things you want to hear about over your dinner. I don't even want to give examples here. There were so gross that they actually make good jokes. Terry suffered a major blow when he lost 10 potential choir concert buyers due to his stubborness to sing us a sample piece. Night was simply Corona's, Letters from Iwo Jima, MSN, and sleep. Yes, I actually fell asleep while staring into the sky by the pool.

Great to see the old gang again. And yes, we have a soccer match against a DHS class soon. Game On.
