holla

Sunday morning. Wee hours. Eve of term 2. Saturday kicked off to a good start. Literally as there was soccer @ meridian with VSNP. Been a long time since I saw the seniors, though bald now due to BMT. However, it was church that actually had the most impact on my day. In the afternoon as I was busy clearing out my drawer, I stumbled upon the song sheets from last year's Lenten Vigil. I spent a good 15 minutes running through the script with flashbacks of the real day itself playing in my mind. How sweetly we belted those tunes on that sacred night. Definately worthy of a place beside the heavenly Carol Medly '06. While browsing through it, I actually remembered telling myself last year that I wanted to narrate this year's Vigil. Well... looking down from above, hearing the choir belt out Prodigal Son today was really bittersweet. Tussle of emotions, I'm torn down the middle.
Sigh.

I dread going back to school. I don't really know if it is because of the impending Common Test results, or it's just...school. Have I ever mentioned that I never dreaded going to school during my VS days? Schooling was perfect then, it was a joy. Now, it's just like a routine that I want to escape as soon as possible.

Term 2 bring about a whole new set of challenges. Coping up with the ever increasing workload is just one of them. Preparing for the Mid Years which would include year 1 and 2 syllabus is the big headache. Revision this holidays have been going at a painfully slow rate. Graphing techniques is still a major blur. Organic Chemistry is getting more complicated as I progress from one set of the notes to the other. Physics, reading last year's notes is as good as reading a brand new, never seen before set of notes. It's amazing how I have forgotten the existence of so many formulae and rules. My oh my, not good. It's going to be one hell of a term.
