holla

I did something just now, and right up to this second, I can't explain why I did so. After mass i took the usual bus 36 to go home, and I don't know why, but after 1 bus stop I got off and just started walking down the road. Kicking stones and leaves to clear my path. Looking into the direction of the passing breeze and feel my fringe graze my upper lips. (Yes, it is that long) 10 steps, maybe 15 or even 20, i don't know. I turned around and hailed the first cab that came my way and came home.
Why Why Why?

I can't explain what made me get off the bus. It's just, somehow I wanted to get out. Fresh air, my own space. Ironically, the bus was practically empty. Cheap form of escapism was just to get out of the bus. My thoughts are really in a tangle. Aimlessly and blindly I trudge through everyday life. I value every second that i spend with myself. Be it on the roof of CJ in the morning watching cars zoom by on the PIE or quiet walks home when I return late. Somehow if I can't be with someone who means so much to me, I rather just be alone and find solace in myself. Don't get me wrong, I do value and cherish all my friends, but I guess I'll always be my best friend.
You'll have to kill me to take away that friend.
