Okay, now that the holiday weekend has gone, I am back. Been quite a busy weekend actually, despite the fact that I am not chinese. Bak Kwa (Spelling?) and all the other goodies have been taking it's toll on my unfortunate throat. I don't sound anything like a frog yet, but it's beginning to hurt. There was a bit of blood when i coughed this morning. Somehow it looked cool that I'm beginning to spit blood out and everything. After thought: It's kinda scary. Can't bear to stay away from the bak kwa that's in my fridge. Temptations... Man's greatest weakness should be his tastebuds.
Common tests are next week. Check, I am not one bit prepared for it. I fear the worst, though it would make no difference to say, I expect the worst. Holiday season was supposed to be used to revise my j1 work and grasp my j2 syllabus, but then again I used the word 'supposed'. Typically, I didn't do much. The subject on common tests sends shivers down my spine, and rightfully so. Face the music i shall. (I won't really consider mum's nagging as music but oh well)
Pool with the choir people was good. Been a long, really long time since i caught up with them. Despite it being just Dom Ng, Greg and Joanna, somehow the 3 just brought that 'choir' spirit along with them. Laughs over the miscue(s) and physics defying blunders. Jokes over a McD breakfast meal, or over nothing. Cathecism from Fr.Greg, rumours from Dom Ng, lots of giggles and "you gotta be kidding me" from Joanna. Somehow, I do miss the choir. It brought me closer to the church than cathecism ever did and gave me company that i never ever thought i could clique so well with. Well, I shall just wait and see. Whatever my next step will be, it's be my own call at my own time.
