
It's the weekend before the exams, and my head has been throbbing the entire day. I've refrained from taking Panadols, but if it persists, I'm just gonna pop the pill and head to bed. Back to school tomorrow morning, it's gonna be useless if the headache keeps on haunting me. Either way, 6/7 of this week was spent in school, judging from the headache, clearly, it's not a good thing. And I somehow feel more cranky.
It's quite a Saturday for the Armed Forces I dare say. BMT POP in the morning, followed by OCS Commissioning Parade in the evening. Seeing Darryl's POP pictures, it's nice to reminisce my own POP. As much as I wasn't marching in the rain with the rest of my company, nor did I ask my parents to come as I was just a useless by-standing recruit, it was a day of liberation. Though I felt miserable that I couldn't complete my BMT well, I guess it was one of those things in life that just screws up on Murphy's command.
And then came the Commissioning photos. Okay, this one has always, and probably, will always be a painful one. As much as I know everything worked out for the best despite that disappointment, some part of me will always look back and wonder how differently things would have turned out if I had signed on...
