It's quite odd when people tell you that you can still talk to them when their MSN status is actually set as 'Away' or 'Busy'. Some are perennially set as 'Away' or 'Busy' mind you.

I'm the sort that usually doesn't talk to someone (unless it's urgent) when his profile says that he/she's busy or away. Gives me that (uncomfortable?) feeling that I'm bothering him/her or talking to just his computer cause the person is really not there! The thought that you're being dao-ed always comes to mind.

And when I tell them this, I usually get the reply asking me why am I so weird.

Weird, I tell you.
