okay..
cab fares are killing me..
you see, with that stupid 5pm-8pm 2dollar surcharge..
my cab fare from pasir ris to nigel's place in changi was a freaking 7bucks
rip off to the max no?
and the cabbie drove damn slowly also la..
i bet he made another 20cents outta that..
cheap bugger..
so on the way back home..
i wanted to walk
but being 3am, the time of the devil..
i decided to get a cab..
this time had to be smart..
got a cab..
went in...
me: " uncle, im high on coke, get me to pasir ris st 21 ASAP"
as usual ah
gave the eyes, somemore i wore contacts
so eyes was kinda red
mumbled words fast, then gave him a stare..
kicked around the place..
sat sloppily on the chair...
then started muttering to myself...
it worked, he got damn scared, drove at 120km/h
then reach while paying him he slowly say..
taxi driver: boy, you look educated and you seem to have a bright future (dnt ask me how he came to that conclusion). You should not do drugs, you are young, study hard and get a good job!
me(suddenly damn awake): uncle, i say i high on coke is no cocaine, but COKE, coca cola..
the look on his face was priceless..
like kena sold out cheated flat..
bet he felt like an idiot
and i felt like the king of the world..
3 cheers to cabbies..
oh yeah, return cab ride was only 6bucks WITH MIDNIGHT SURCHARGE
